ABOUT
Who I am
I grew up in Pico Rivera, California in the 80s and 90s and often visited Whittier and other nearby cities. I graduated from Saint Paul High School in 1995 and went on to UC Berkeley. Swordsmen! And Go Bears! From Berkeley, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Economics in 2000. Afterwards, I worked for several years with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA).

In 2007, I enrolled in USC's School of Policy, Planning, and Development (SPPD) and graduated with a Master of Planning Degree with an Emphasis in Economic Development in 2009. Today, the School's name is the Sol Price School of Policy. Fight On!

Now, I am a full-time professional urban planner with a land use planning organization. I'm also a part-time blogger and e-commerce entrepreneur, primarily as an Amazon Third Party Seller. I reside with my family in lovely Whittier, California. I enjoy spending time with my family and reading books. My favorite movie is Heat (1995).
Why I do this
I enjoy writing and sharing my ideas and opinions on a range of subjects that interest me. Those are urban planning, economic development, Amazon.com, e-commerce, and local Whittier Area news, politics, and history. I write as a Whittier resident and planner concerned with local planning issues. Whittier is a great town and should stay great.
On a map, you will see that the Whittier Area is the geographic center, the heart of Southern California. Whittier is also close to the original site of the San Gabriel Mission in Whittier Narrows. Near the Rio Hondo River, the Mission's the birthplace of modern Los Angeles and Southern California.
What I can do for you
I can share my thoughts and writings based on my acquired knowledge and experience. I can also advertise your website, product, or event on my blog. Please email for more information.
